Brogan was raised in a religious household, with both parents being pastors. He has three brothers and a golden doodle named Molly. Growing up, all the brothers played soccer and swam. Brogan competed in states for both these sports in high school. Early in high school, he realized he wanted to do something different with his life and be the best version he knew he could be. So, he continued to compete at a high level and became an Eagle Scout. Right after high school graduation, he went directly into the Marine Corps. He served in the reserves for six years and went to Kent State to study Criminal Justice, hoping to get into Federal law enforcement. While at Kent, he became a Rugby team member and got into a business Fraternity. Leadership was something he’s always valued, so he quickly became captain of the rugby team, then president. He also held a leadership role in the fraternity. Right after graduation, he got a corporate position as a crime analyst for the Cleveland Police Department. He stayed there for two years, then decided it was time for a career shift more aligned with his passion for goal achievement.
He got a call from a sales and management firm in Cleveland, 5W&Co. This being a completely different career path, it was naturally difficult at first, but Brogan, being persistent and determined, knew this was the opportunity he needed to achieve his goals. So he buckled down, showed his work ethic and student mentality, and got to grinding. A year and a half later, he made it into a management role and expanded the clients’ brand out to Columbus, OH, in early July. Since opening, USM has trained some of the top reps and leaders in the country. With such a booming and prosperous market, USM is only destined to achieve greatness with the morals, values, and character they hold true to themselves.
Brogan brings the values of the Marine Corps into his business every single day, and his leaders in the office emulate it. Values of integrity, honesty, and discipline ring true to the USM team. Spearhead is a term the Marines use when they say, “tip of the spear.” This means the top echelon of people. The ones that aren’t afraid of a challenge and would rather tackle it. The ones who are willing to use good old-fashioned work ethic to reach their personal mission. So Brogan is looking for and training the best of the best. The team is looking to expand into a new market by the end of the year and expand twice in 2024. With this strong foundation, team unity, and vision, the sky is the limit for USM.
